1 Corinthians 13

⁴Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast  it is not proud. ⁵It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. ⁶Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. ⁷It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

The World is becomeing so puffed up.

In our modern day society we forget to be self-less and in stead become self-absorbed.

We, the world, forget to love our nieghbors, we forget to serve others, we chose to be rude, we forget to

rejoice with others and what we have been blessed with we tend to take for granted.

 

 

Proverbs 3:5-6 May 13, 2009

“Trust in the LORD with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding; 

in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”

     Why do we doubt ,Jesus, the One who we should trust 100% ?  “With god all things are possible!”   In our modern day society we have learned to depend on our self  instead of Jesus, the one who loves us and has the best for us.  We are told to acknowledge Jesus and not us.  If the bible is telling us to not depend on us and trust God and depend on Him instead I think we should get a move on it.  When we trust and depend on God he will lead us and make our life, “path” ,straight.  Don’t doubt Jesus! He’s the man!

A Center Piece On My Table May 11, 2009

     Lately I have not put God as my center piece.  My personal weakness of vanity, consumes me to LOVE my mirrror more than God, I regret to say.  When I decorate my “TABLE”,  I have been know to place Jesus on the table as a placemat and then I exspect Him to catch my crumbs.  

     Lord, why is it so hard to surrender all when all you give me is good? PLease help me to recieve “The Center Piece” of You.  Amen

devine appointment May 6, 2009

I could not pick a specific disappointment in my life. I have to admitt I have not had many major ones but I have had a lot of small ones. Being under my parents wing till I find mine they have told me “NO” to several activities, parties, people…. Though iIwalk away upset and disappointed there has not been a time I haven’t gone back to them and thanked them for saying “NO” even though they knew it would disappoint me. As an adult I hope I will respond to God the same way when disappointments come my way. : )

Blogs—-I am not sure how I feel about these. I find myself not sure it is worth the time. I am feeling behind the times right about now.  Maybe it is my personality type.  I can not imagine 1.having the time to do this and 2. thinking anyone else would have to read it.
