Lately I have not put God as my center piece. My personal weakness of vanity, consumes me to LOVE my mirrror more than God, I regret to say. When I decorate my “TABLE”, I have been know to place Jesus on the table as a placemat and then I exspect Him to catch my crumbs. Lord, why is it so hard to surrender all when all you give me is good? PLease help me to recieve “The Center Piece” of You. Amen

Turn my eyes form looking at worthless thing; and give me life in your ways. Psamls 119;37
Well, dear Precious…it is hard because we were born with a “me centered”heart! (Thank you Adam & Eve!!) At my age I still struggle daily…but we MUST struggle and not just give up. We know the keys to doing better are daily time with Him and time in His word. Start each day with the intent of putting Him first by GETTING OUT OF BED and spending time giving Him your heart and day. He is faithful to meet us on the days we show up to meet Him…and forgiving when the snooze alarm wins. Just make sure you keep on trying and walking on the “narrow path” as we head to the “Celelestial City” together! You ask me how I’m doing at it…and I’ll ask you!
Love…LaLa

Well said. I do the same, especially when the pressures of life are great, but he is faithful to love me right where I am and gently remind me to lift my eyes. Okay, sometimes not so gently. Press on, sweet girl. I’m so glad to be running this race with you.
